Introduction
Hello and welcome to Buchan RDA's website.
We are a small Riding for the Disabled group based in the Buchan area in the North East of Scotland. We Provide a riding facility for various Schools groups and centres in our area. The Buchan Branch of the RDA is a registered charity and is run by Volunteers ( we are always looking for new helpers). We ride on a Tuesday and a Thursday during Term time.

Buchan RDA celebrates its Silver Jubilee this year - 25 years of providing riding for hundreds of adults and children in the Buchan area.

Poetry
We have been asked by many people about the poem on the right. Well, it was written by a supporter of our Group, Shirley Cruickshank, who very kindly gave us permission to use her work on our site. And her generosity didn't stop there. She has allowed her work to be published, and a book of her poetry is now available for purchase, with all proceeds helping the group to carry out it's work.
