Introduction
The poem featured on our site was written some time ago by Shirley Cruickshank, who very kindly gave us permission for it to be used on our site. She is the inspiration behind a fundraising collection of poems, called Hoofbeats and Heartbeats, which she has gifted to the Group to be published in a new book. The book also features artwork and poems from some of the riders, and the drawings compliment the poetry beautifully.
Proceeds from the sale of the book will help to benefit Groups in the Grampian and Highland regions, and will help them to continue to provide quality riding and carriage driving opportunities for people with special needs.
